WHAT IS DISCIPLESHIP 2: Ephesians 4:11-15

There is a purpose for everything created by God. When we lack understanding about the purpose of anything in life, we abuse it. There is a divine reason why God has generously given talents, abilities and gifts to all his children. Let us
study reasons why God has so powerfully equipped us. Matthew 25:14-30

MEMORY VERSE: Matthew 28:19-20

Discuss the following study questions.

(a) According to verse 12 why does God give gifts?
(b) What is the expectation of God when these gifts are properly used?
(c) What is the difference between a child and a maturing disciple in verse 14?
(d) What should be the main aim of discipleship in Ephessians 4:15 and Romans 8:28?
(e) What is the appropriate way to use the gifts that God has given us in discipleship?

CONCLUSION:

It is a fact today that many people desire spiritual gifts. However, these gifts remain only as a badge of honor to
boast about. We will see clearly from scriptures that God has a purpose for every gift given to every individual.
Each person must accomplish and achieve certain goals with those gifts. We will all stand before God on that great
day to give account of what we accomplished with our gifts
